In addition to representing our own talented artists and writers, we at Tafari Music are proud to partner with foreign publishing companies, offering copyright protection and promotion within the United States. We represent foreign catalogs as if they were our own – tracking down unlicensed uses, procuring new licenses, and collecting and distributing royalties.
Here are a few of the publishers we represent:

Begun in London in 1979 by Neil Fraser (aka the Mad Professor – link to his artist bio page), Ariwa Sounds encompasses a record label which includes over 160 releases, a publishing company, and a recording. Over the course of its almost-thirty-year history, Ariwa has produced ground-breaking work in dub, lover’s rock and roots music, establishing itself as one of Britain’s most successful reggae companies. Sandra Cross, Pato Banton, Macka B, Kofi, John McLean and Black Steel built their careers at Ariwa, while the Mad Professor has collaborated with Massive Attack, The Orb, UB 40, Sade, Jamiroquai, The Beastie Boys and Rancid, to name a few. Ariwa’s catalogue includes the Mad Professor’s legendary 12-album dub series, as well as the critically acclaimed ‘No Protection,’ a remixed version of Massive Attack’s 1995 album.
